Joe's Boxing Club is a syllabus
based boxing program that aims to take the student from novice to competition standard in a two year progressive class regime.

Olympic style boxing
taught as close as we can get to what is taught at the Australian
Institute of Sport

This is not a microphone based fitness boxing
program, classes are based on traditional boxing training but with
extra explanation, illustration and imagination to enhance learning the
technique.

Fitness is based around 'leverage on skill'
ethos, increase your skill first then perform more efficiently and enhance
fitness as well as self defence.

Some classes focus on fitness
and others on skills and drills .

We have controlled progressive sparring sessions
available to those who want it

T-shirt ranking system forms our 'Black Shirt' program to enhance progress and motivation.

Women's only classes as well as mixed classes

All prospective students have a
semi-private
introductory lesson with Joe before attending a group class. This helps
make the student feel comfortable and gives them enough skill to "hit the
ground running".
