OutBack Adventures

From Sydney we take a three hour journey to the retreat at Rylstone where we say the night and cook over a campfire. We spend the next day exploring sandstone caves and escarpments and climbing to peaks with incredible views and meandering through tracks which usually leads to spotting several species of Kangaroos and wallabies and if you are lucky a big fat wombat or lizard or echidna  and then if we have time we can venture off the property to two sites within 3 km one of which has cave drawings some 7000 years old and the other being the stunning Ferntree Gully. f it's hot we can venture some 40km to Dunns Swamp which is non motorboat swimming paradise.

We then travel through historic goldfields country stopping at the likes of hill end, Sofala , Gulgong, orange before reaching Dubbo and then onto Bourke. We stay in the centre of Bourke resting and replenishing before journeying to the national parks that surround. Gundabooka, Mount Oxley, Sturt National Parks. Its possible to cast a net for yabbies or catch fish of substantial size.

From Bourke we will circle back through either White Cliffs or Lightening Ridge where adventurers will have the opportunity to try their luck Opal mining and fossick for other gems.
